Experience
I've coordinated an interactive course for university students in the area of astronomy, astrophysics and space exploration. I have experience with private tutoring in math, physics and sciences in general. I love to teach and to explain things in a simple way but perhaps more importantly I believe the key to teaching is to make teaching enjoyable by sparking the curiosity in students and children about any subject that is being thought no matter how dry it seems. Transmitting the passion for a subject makes learning it incredibly easier and this is what many times is lacking unfortunately among other things from our modern educational systems - this is perhaps one of the main reasons why you are here now on this website. In the last 10 years I have been interested in how to improve the educational system in general and also understanding what makes great teaching professors be very good at what they do. Doing this I've explored the idea of how to explain things in a simple and practical way while at the same time making it interesting and not boring even to people that are new to a particular field of study. I am an easy going and friendly person, I adapt very easily to different people, I can get along well with a variety of personality types. And like I said before, I like helping people to study - I like to help out others to understand and certainly not to be afraid anymore of certain subjects. I can teach mathematics, physics and any of the other subjects at any school level, up to last year of high school. I can also teach the basics in programming or music theory and guitar. At the bachelors' level I can teach certain fields related to earth sciences, geology(and the sub-fields of it). At a master's level I can help you study about Climate Change science, impacts and mitigation efforts and about one of my favorite subjects: paleoclimatology.

Hobbies
I love nature and many of the sports that involve outdoor exploration like mountain hiking, skying (I'm also a ski instructor :) ) cycling, etc. In terms of favorite fields of study, besides the areas mentioned above there are others which I like for example psychology, philosophy, chaos theory, cosmology, futurism, etc. I am a strong believer in continuous learning. I enjoy TED talks every once in a while (I used to be a TED translator for a while)
